FORS Bronze: A Fleet Milestone

FORS Bronze: A Fleet Milestone

The TP Group are proud to announce that we have achieved Bronze accreditation in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), marking an important milestone in the development of our transport operations.

FORS is a nationally recognised scheme that sets high standards for fleet management, safety, and environmental performance. Achieving Bronze demonstrates our commitment to operating responsibly, efficiently, and with the safety of our people and communities at the forefront.

This success is the result of continuous improvements across our fleet, driven by the expertise and leadership of Fleet Manager, Alan Kirkton. Since joining the business just over a year ago, Alan has introduced a number of initiatives that have transformed the way we manage and maintain our vehicles.

Key improvements include the introduction of a digital vehicle check and defect reporting system, as well as upgraded camera and tracking software, providing greater visibility and faster incident response. Alan has also overseen the running of our on-site workshop and maintenance schedules, ensuring our growing fleet remains safe, compliant, and efficient.

With over 100 vehicles on the road, including 16 fully electric, the scale of the operation is significant. Maintaining this fleet to the highest standards is central to our wider goal of becoming a carbon-neutral business.

We would like to thank Alan and the wider TP Group team for their hard work and dedication in achieving this accreditation. Their efforts continue to set new standards and ensure we operate with safety, sustainability, and excellence at the core of everything we do.
