TP Landscaping has been recognised at the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) for their incredible work at The University of Oxford’s Life & Mind Building (LaMB) in the Hard Landscaping Construction (Non-Domestic) – Over £500k category.

The BALI awards are the largest landscaping awards in Europe providing the landscaping industry with a platform to showcase their work and celebrate their achievements.

This prestigious award win reflects the hard work, skill and commitment of TP Landscaping’s entire landscaping team, whose dedication brought this significant project to life.

The judges commented:

“This project was a large undertaking and the overall scheme presented well at first inspection and was worthy of an award.”

The Life & Mind Building at Oxford University is designed to redefine the student experience. Blending cutting-edge research facilities with vibrant external environments including a striking amphitheatre. The LaMB provides purpose-built spaces for global scientific collaboration and public engagement.

The sculpted geometry of this project demanded meticulous setting out, detailed coordination and precise construction sequencing throughout the external landscaping works. A key element was the installation of the individual precast step units, where accuracy was critical to achieving the design intent. Every unit required careful positioning to maintain consistent levels, tight tolerances and seamless integration with retaining structures, planting areas and surrounding architectural interfaces.

Education Estates Awards 2026

This project has also been shortlisted in the Education Estates Awards 2026 and is undoubtedly worthy of a double win.
