TP Passive Fire delivered a comprehensive programme of passive fire safety remedial works and upgrades at Kings House, a residential development located on The Esplanade in Frinton-On-Sea. 

Working closely with the residential management company and the local fire brigade, we ensured that all actions raised in the building’s fire risk assessment as well as concerns identified by the fire safety officer were fully addressed. 

Following targeted surveys of both fire doors and compartmentation systems, we developed a detailed scope of works for all passive fire safety elements. All works were completed in accordance with our third-party LPCB accreditations, ensuring certified compliance and consistent quality throughout: 

• Fire stopping works: LPS 1531 

• Fire door replacements: LPS 1271 

• Fire door remedial and upgrade works: LPS 1197 

A key focus of this project was resident engagement. We worked proactively with occupants throughout the programme to ensure their concerns were heard and swiftly addressed. Residents were consulted on design choices such as the style of numerals used on their new doors allowing them to retain a personal touch while ensuring full compliance with fire safety standards. 

The project was delivered on time and within budget, significantly enhancing the building’s fire safety and providing reassurance to all stakeholders.
