Restoring the splendour of Sundridge Park Mansion
Originally designed by eminent architect John Nash in the 18th century, The Mansion at Sundridge Park in Bromley, London, is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building set in a 300acre estate which includes the famous Sunridge Park Golf Club and stunning gardens planned by esteemed landscaper Humphrey Repton.
City and Country was responsible for converting this spectacular site into 22 luxury apartments offering residents a blend of tranquil rural life with the convenience of the city on the doorstep. The TP Group was approached to lay carpark surfaces at the rear of the property. These surfaces needed to be in keeping with extreme high-quality finish of the renovation and the grounds, whilst also sensitive to the site’s heritage and original style.
The TP Group elected to lay BBA approved Terrabound Resin Bound surfacing. With its seamless, decorative qualities, this natural aggregate complements the elegance of its surroundings perfectly. The porous and durable nature of the materials means it will last, and look great, for many decades to come.
The Terrabound Resin Bound Golden Tan Gravel looks spectacular set against the splendour of The Mansion and its gardens. We laid a total area of 455m2 in a single day to prevent visible day joins and – as ever – completed the work to the most immaculate standard. Our client was very pleased with the quality of the finished surface and the speed and professionalism of our team.
