Providing fire safety for contemporary warehousing
Tungsten Park is a major new logistics and industrial development in Handcross, near Crawley.
Our client Magrock constructed two new-build warehouses, totalling 83,000 sq ft of internal space in a project worth £4.3m. We were appointed to provide fire protection for the project, which had a timeline of 26 weeks from start to finish.
To meet the required fire protection standards on deadline, we provided the intumescent coating and top seal to structural steels at both units. This required that our experts worked in close collaboration with the project manager to ensure there were no delays or budget overruns.
The two new single-storey warehouse units provide state-of-the-art industrial space for the local area. Not only are they fully fit-for-purpose and up to the necessary safety standards, but they are also built to contemporary aesthetics, sympathetic to their surrounding area.
