Millennium Village’s picturesque picnic areas

Project type: Residential, Social Housing

Division: Surfacing & Coatings

Greenwich Millennium Village is a modern urban village development built on the Greenwich peninsula within the banks of London’s River Thames.

As an Addagrip approved contractor, The TP Group was approached by its client Turney Landscapes to install more than 100m2 of Resin Bound Gravel for a picturesque picnic seating area and accompanying tree pits.

Project type: Residential, Social Housing

Division: Surfacing & Coatings

For the Resin Bound Gravel footpaths, we selected Addagrip’s BBA approved Addaset product in a 6mm Rhine Gold colour blend. To match the paths, 6-10mm Rhine Gold aggregates were installed at a depth of 75mm in the tree pits.

Project type: Residential, Social Housing

Division: Surfacing & Coatings

The natural colour of the Rhine Gold Resin Bound Gravel provides a bright appearance which contrasts well with the green garden area. So pleased was the client with our professionalism and workmanship that we were invited back to lay a further 20m2 of surfaces to extend the picnic area. The works took a total of 3 non-consecutive days and were completed in April 2017.
