“Lunar” surfacing for Suffolk school
The British Racing School, a charitable trust, is one of two horseracing schools in the United Kingdom.
Established in 1983, this a purpose-built training centre provides training to young people working in the horseracing industry. Located on the outskirts of Newmarket, the headquarters of British horseracing, the site’s extensive grounds and state of the art equipment make The British Racing School stand out as the country’s premier training facility.
The TP Group was proud to be asked to complete Resin Bound Gravel installation to the pathways and parking area of Peter O’Sullevan House, the sites state of the art rehabilitation centre.
Ronacrete’s RonaDeck Lunar product was chosen for its low-maintenance hardwearing, wheelchair-friendly properties. In total, we were required to lay the Ronadeck material to an area of more than 1,400m2 at varying depths of 15mm and 18mm.
This cool, lunar grey surface blends beautifully with steel-clad sections of the building’s roof, while contrasting nicely with the dark, warm shades of brick, tile and timber. Our client was extremely satisfied with the finished result.
