Apprenticeship Scheme

We have recognised the skills gap in our industry.

To play our part in encouraging people to start a career in the resin surfaces and coatings sector, we’re widening our apprenticeship scheme across the Group. Currently taking on several apprentices a year, we want to expand our pool, working in partnership with educators, suppliers, manufacturers and training providers.

The apprentices will work across each division of the company. On completion, we’ll conduct a review to determine the area most suited to the individual in question, taking into account what they enjoyed most. Following this, we will help them enrol at a college or training provider to start working towards obtaining the relevant qualification.

To assist people in identifying which area of the industry they are best suited to, be it landscaping, surfacing & coatings, painting & decorating or fire protection, we are working with local colleges such as the Colchester Institute, the Construction industry Training Board, the Job Centre, local councils and other training providers.
