Michael Morley

Michael’s career in the construction industry began working on the tools laying resin flooring and progressed through numerous roles to taking over as Chairman of The TP Group Group in 2004. Since then, Michael’s dedication to client satisfaction has seen the company grow from strength to strength.
As a firm believer in service without compromise, Michael prides himself on his ability to offer support through knowledge and works closely with both clients and staff sharing his unrivalled expertise.
Outside of work, Michael can be found spending time with his family, swapping his hard hat for a chef’s hat as he experiments in the kitchen or indulging his passion for cars.

Guy has over 35 years’ experience in decorating and construction. His diverse background and commercial awareness give him a unique understanding of our clients’ requirements. He is focused on delivering excellent value and service to our customers. As a result, The TP Group’s Painting Solutions division are one of the biggest independent painting contractors in the country.
Never one to be complacent, Guy is always looking at ways to refine the group’s quality management systems and value engineering options. He takes great pride in the relationships he forms with clients and suppliers and few things give him more pleasure than helping his colleagues achieve their career goals. He is working closely with suppliers, the CITB and clients to develop The TP Group’s apprenticeship scheme.

Having worked in the decorating industry for over 30 years, Dave’s knowledge is unparalleled. While running his own business for a number of years, Dave built a strong reputation amongst clients and suppliers. Many of these suppliers came to rely on Dave as something of a troubleshooter, frequently approaching him to consult on projects or even carry out difficult tasks on their behalf.
Dave joined The TP Group in 2014 to assist with all aspects of the business including turnover, efficiency, client relationships and quality control. He has helped to establish The TP Group’s team-driven ethic and commitment to service and quality. Dave thrives upon challenges and problem-solving. His drive and operational input have helped The TP Group grow beyond its ambition.

Sam Joined The TP Group in 2013, Keen to learn all there is to know about different paints and how a site is run, Sam spent six months working on the tools and studied in college to eventually become a Quantity Surveyor.
With experience in Contract Management, this puts Sam in good stead knowing not only how a site should run operationally but also commercially. Day to day Sam’s focus is to create new client relationships as well as build existing relationships and he now manages all commercial aspects for the painting division.

Lee Richardson

Passive Fire Protection
Lee has worked in the passive fire industry since January 2014, having previously worked in finance. During his career he has worked his way up to hold the position of Business Coordination Manager and then Commercial Director.
Lee joined The TP Group in January 2020 and is leading the division in an exciting direction. As Commercial Director, he is responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies to support and accelerate growth.
Outside of work, Lee is a keen football fan with Liverpool being his team of choice.

Ross is a Fire Door Managing Surveyor at The TP Group with a wealth of skills and experience in the passive fire protection industry. As a qualified interior architect and associate member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, Ross is a versatile Surveyor with comprehensive technical knowledge of current legislation and regulations.
Ross is passionate about delivering the highest standards to clients and customers every time, and is at his happiest when he’s part of a hard-working, motivated team.

In 2003, Peter joined The TP Group as a Labourer, quickly progressing through supervisory roles to become General Manager and, following the division of the Group’s companies, in 2014 Peter took on the role of Managing Director at The TP Group.
With qualifications including SSSTS, NVQ 3 in Occupational Work Supervision and gold-level CSCS, Peter’s broad knowledge base and wealth of expertise reflects the range of services the Surfaces and Coatings division offer. Outside of work, Peter is a keen traveller and sportsman.

Tony has worked in the construction industry for over 18 years, 12 of which he’s spent at The TP Group. Starting out as a Labourer applying resin flooring, Tony quickly rose through supervisory and managerial roles to become Technical Director thanks to his expertise and quick thinking when it comes to technical solutions in social housing, transport, industrial and food sectors.
Tony’s time at The TP Group has allowed him to build strong relationships with our clients and his knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers means he can provide specifications to suit any project, budget and need. Those skills as well as his passion and attention to detail have enabled Tony to be a part of such prestigious projects as the Olympic Stadium and Hampton Court Palace.

Jamie Patten

Jamie joined The TP Group in 2021 as a Contracts Manager, following eight years as a Site Supervisor in the landscaping industry. His talent was quickly recognised and he was promoted to Managing Director to oversee all commercial projects and Landscaping teams. Jamie can mainly be found on site developing client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time to the high standard our clients have come to expect.
Simon Perry

Simon joined The TP Group in 2017 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor and estimator for both main contractors and sub-contractors. Simon’s expertise is focused on hard and soft landscaping and general contracting environments.
From his work across a range of sectors and projects Simon brings a wealth of experience managing projects to the team. He’s also an award winner, having received a BALI National Landscape Award for Green Roof Installations and Roof Gardens in 2018.
